I need to be able to customize the Shop page.
Normally I would add a woocommerce folder from the parent or wc plugin and start there, creating also custom functions to hook into actions etc.
In this case none of this is working… too many custom functions in the wc start loop.
What I need, is to be able to edit the shop page (which will also be the front page) so that I have the full Woocommerce Sidebar on the left AND custom content (with VC) on the right (instead of product loop). This reply has been marked as private.
Nevermind, I made a custom attribute widget myself, so I can use it outside of WC pages.1 year, 3 months ago MRTKeymaster
Happy to see that you could build this beautiful website with Vitrine features.
Also, your CSS customizations are very effective and made the site more beautiful.
If I could get your meaning correctly, the mentioned request is available in Vitrine. It means that you can have the categories in your shop page, instead of having products loop. You can change shop page display options on the following path:
Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Product Catalog > Shop Page Display
Additionally, you can even change categories display options in the same path.
The only thing that you need to customize, is the number of columns that you can use in shop page. Vitrine only allows you to use 2,3,4 and 5 columns. But if you want to have each category in one column, you have to do a little customization.
I always forget the Customizr part… I always look only in theme options.
Please add all the Customizr options also in theme options, just in case users dont look in there!
I changed to categories, but then I can’t edit very well the cateogry blocks appearence… so in the end, I am using the normal home (page) with a custom widget to list attributes even outside of WC pages.
Would be great if in the future we could customize the home easily from theme options!1 year, 3 months ago MRTKeymaster
How are you?
These options have been provided by Woocommerce and aren’t Vitrine settings.
All of the options that belong to Vitrine are in our theme settings.
Anyway, we have plans to change our theme settings panel. It will publish in the future.
